NFL Conference Championship Round

AFC:

Patriots over Colts

What else can a fan wish for in a playoff game. Arguably the two best quarterbacks in the game going head to head once again. These teams know each other inside out expect another tight game with no lead being safe with Brady and Manning handling these offenses. I believe the home field will play a factor with these two with each previous playoff game between the two going to the home team. Expect both teams to force mistakes but in the end the Patriots do just enough to beat their arch rival Indianapolis Colts and move on to Super Bowl XLV.

NFC:

Saints over Falcons

Again I’m not sold on the Falcons as everybody else is. They are a team fairly new to the postseason and even though they have home field which will help them, the Saints will find their Championship poise and beat the Falcons in the Georgia Dome. I expect a game similar to the MNF game between these two at Atlanta. The Saints stopped Michael Turner for the most part and I expect them to do the same along with dialing up pressure on Matt Ryan. Let’s not forget although the Falcons beat the Saints early in the regular season at New Orleans it took two short missed Garrett Hartley field goal attempts to keep them alive only to win in OT. It is not like the Falcons beat them soundly.
